Registration Fees

Member is defined as a paid member of NSEA or SASEA. Information about becoming an NSEA or SASEA member is available online.

Conference registration includes: One (1) admission to conference general and breakout sessions, plus all meals noted on the conference schedule.

Payment must be received by October 6, 2017 - Attendance without payment is not feasible.

Conference Objectives

  • Discover methods and means for recognizing and promoting student employment at our campuses.
  • Enhance a common understanding of the roles student employment professionals play and how we enhance student learning.
  • Understand how and where change is occurring within student employment, higher education, and federal regulations.
  • Develop the skills, knowledge, and understanding necessary to execute ethical and effective student employment programs.
  • Refresh your individual and community spirit.

Call for Presenters    

Conference presenters are integral to the professional development of student employment professionals at all levels of their career. The NSEA Conference Committee is looking for dynamic presenters for best practices presentations, panel discussions, and deep dive sessions.
Presenters and panel facilitators will receive a FREE registration to the Student Employment Tutorial (SET) training that will take place after the conference on Friday, October 27, 2017. If selected as a conference presenter, you will contribute to the advancement of your profession. 
The Conference Program Proposal form can be found here.  Complete and submit this form by Friday, June 9, 2017. Please send additional presentation materials to  nseaconference17@gmail.com.

Cancellation & Refund Policies

NSEA hopes everyone who registers for the conference will be able to attend; however, NSEA knows that plans can change. The NSEA Cancellation and Refund Policy as follows:

Conference Refund and Cancellation Policy

The NSEA Conference Cancellation and Refund Policy will be as follows to assure consistency and is applicable to the annual NSEA conference.                     

  • Conference registration canceled on-line on or before October 6, 2017 is refundable but subject to a $50 administrative fee.
  • Registrants canceling after October 6, 2017 will not receive a refund. The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived. Registration fees may be transferred to another individual; the invoice for the new registration will be revised to reflect the new registrant's membership status.
  • In the event NSEA must cancel the conference due to unforeseen circumstances, NSEA will refund the cost of registration. However NSEA does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges, or expenses; to include, charges made for travel and lodging.

Unforeseen Circumstances Defined for Refund and Cancellation Policies:

"Unforeseen Circumstances" is used to describe an event that is unexpected and prevents NSEA from continuing with a conference or training. Examples of such circumstances can include but are not limited to inclement weather or other natural disasters, site unavailability, technology challenges, and presenter absence.
