Cancellation & Refund Policies

NSEA hopes everyone who registers for the conference will be able to attend; however, NSEA knows extenuating circumstances do occur.The NSEA Cancellation and Refund Policies are as follows:

Conference Refund and Cancellation Policy

The NSEA Conference Cancellation and Refund Policy will be as follows to assure consistency and is applicable to the annual NSEA conference.

  • Conference registration canceled on-line on or before October 6, 2017 is refundable but subject to a $50 administrative fee.
  • Registrants canceling after October 6, 2017 will not receive a refund. The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived. Registration fees may be transferred to another individual; the invoice for the new registration will be revised to reflect the new registrant's membership status.
  • In the event NSEA must cancel the conference due to unforeseen circumstances, NSEA will refund the cost of registration. However NSEA does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges, or expenses; to include, charges made for travel and lodging.

Student Employment Essentials (SEE) Training Refund and Cancellation Policy

The NSEA SEE Training Cancellation and Refund Policy will be as follows.

  • Refund eligibility for SEE training cancellations or non-attendance is decided by the individual region that is hosting the training.

Student Employment Tutorial (SET) Training & Webinars Cancellation Policy

The NSEA SET Training and Webinars Cancellation and Refund Policy will be as follows to assure consistency and is applicable to SET training and webinars held by NSEA.

  • Registration fees cannot be refunded for NSEA SET training and webinars. The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived. Registration fees may be transferred to another individual; the invoice for the new registration will be revised to reflect the new registrant's membership status.
  • In the event that a SET training or a webinar must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, NSEA will refund the cost of registration. However NSEA does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges, or expenses; to include, charges made for travel and lodging.
  • Webinars that are rescheduled for a different date and/or time will not be refunded, but may be transferred to another individual of the same membership status or, if recorded, a link to the recorded webinar can be provided upon request. Unforeseen Circumstances Defined for Refund and Cancellation Policies:

Unforeseen circumstances is used to describe an event that is unexpected and prevents NSEA from continuing with a conference, training, or webinar. Examples of such circumstances can include, but are not limited to, inclement weather or other natural disasters, site unavailability, technology challenges, and presenter absence.
