Frank Adams Founder's Award
The Frank Adams Founder's Award is presented for vision, leadership, and longevity of service. Awarded to a NSEA member for five or more years who has had two or more leadership roles within the association, such as: Officer, Director, Committee Chair, Special Project Person. This award was named in memory of Frank Adams, one of the founders of NSEA who showed outstanding commitment to the development of student employment and the student employment professional.

The John R. Griffin Service Award
The John R. Griffin Service Award is presented for distinguished service to NSEA and awarded to a member of two or more years who has provided outstanding contributions to conferences and programs, special projects or committee assignments or in leadership positions. Preference will be given to the member who is retiring or departing the association. This award was established to honor John R. Griffin, who founded MASEA, the organization which gave roots to the other regional associations and NSEA.

The Margene Orzalli Memorial Award
The Margene Orzalli Memorial Award is presented to a member who has demonstrated extraordinary effort, energy and time commitment on behalf of NSEA for a period of two or more years. This member has provided leadership and vision through numerous activities including committee work, conferences and programs, leadership positions as an Officer or Director, or work on special projects. This award was named in memory of Margene Orzalli, whose efforts resulted in the establishment of WASEA.

The Jim Campbell Rookie of the Year Award

The Lifetime (or Honorary) Membership Award
The Lifetime (or Honorary) Membership Award recognizes leadership contributions over a sustained period of time. The awards are given to those who have made substantial contributions to enabling the association to meets its goals and further its purposes, being such an integral part of the association that continued honorary membership over a lifetime is warranted.

The Lifetime Achievement Award
The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an outstanding professional who has made lifetime contributions to NSEA and student employment. This prestigious award has only been given four times throught NSEA history in which the Board selects the deserving individual.
