National Student Employment Association Sponsored Research Grant Program The NSEA Sponsored Research Grant Program was established to stimulate research in the field of student employment and to increase our understanding of the characteristics, implications, and outcomes of the work experience. While the program provides funding to support research in related areas such as student financial aid, career planning and placement, community service, cooperative education, personnel and student development, priority is given to projects that directly evaluate student employment. NSEA seeks researchers who will explore issues such as: What are the effects of work on students' academic, social and career development? What kinds of job counseling will help our students? How will part-time jobs specifically help our students after graduation? Is it better for them to get on- or off-campus experience? What training programs would benefit our students? Student employment and financial aid administrators, students, practicing researchers, and others are invited to submit proposals. The NSEA Research Committee accepts proposals year-round. Awards may range from $500 to $2,000. Interested in obtaining a research grant? Other Grant-Writing and Funding Resources
