Keynote Speaker:   Dr. Tia McNair

The Vice President in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Student Success at Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) in Washington, DC.  Tia oversees both funded projects and AAC&U’s continuing programs on equity, inclusive excellence, high-impact educational practices, and student success, including AAC&U’s Network for Academic Renewal series of yearly working conferences.  Tia will share her insight and expertise on the necessary components of high impact practices, to include serving the under served.

Member is defined as a paid member of NSEA or WASEA. Information about becoming an NSEA or WASEA member is available online.

Conference registration includes: One (1) admission to conference general and breakout sessions, plus all meals noted on the conference schedule.

Payment must be received by September 27, 2019 - Attendance without payment is not feasible.

Cancellation & Refund Policies

NSEA hopes everyone who registers for the conference will be able to attend; however, NSEA knows that plans can change. The NSEA Cancellation and Refund Policy as follows:

Conference Refund and Cancellation Policy

The NSEA Conference Cancellation and Refund Policy will be as follows to assure consistency and is applicable to the annual NSEA conference.                     

  • Conference registration canceled on-line on or before September 302019 is refundable but subject to a $50 administrative fee.
  • Registrants canceling after October 1, 2019 will not receive a refund. The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived. Registration fees may be transferred to another individual; the invoice for the new registration will be revised to reflect the new registrant's membership status.
  • In the event NSEA must cancel the conference due to unforeseen circumstances, NSEA will refund the cost of registration. However NSEA does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges, or expenses; to include, charges made for travel and lodging.

Unforeseen Circumstances Defined for Refund and Cancellation Policies:

"Unforeseen Circumstances" is used to describe an event that is unexpected and prevents NSEA from continuing with a conference or training. Examples of such circumstances can include but are not limited to inclement weather or other natural disasters, site unavailability, technology challenges, and presenter absence.
