Dr. Matt Newlin

Matt Newlin, Ed.D. is a higher education consultant with over 15 years of experience advocating for postsecondary equity. He has worked at College Advising Corps, Washington University, and the University of Missouri - St. Louis. In his past roles, he has established campus financial literacy programs, need-based scholarships, and first-generation student programs. He is regularly invited to speak at national conferences about institutional barriers to higher education. He is a first-generation student from a low-income background which helps him understand the challenges many students face during college. He lives in St. Louis with his wife and two dogs.
